Beaver Homes & Cottages is Home Hardware's custom home and cottage program. You start from a catalogue of more than 100 home, cottage, and garage plans, then work with our design staff to shape one around your lot, your budget, and the way you live.
What lands on your lot is a complete building package: the permit-ready blueprints and the materials to match, from foundation to finishes, supplied through the same Northumberland stores you already deal with. There's no distant head office. The people planning your build are the people at the counter.

The catalogue runs from one-level bungalows to two-storey family homes, lakeside cottages, and detached garages. Every plan is a starting point: the layout, footprint, and finishes are all yours to change.

How It Works
From design book to building permit.
Start with a Beaver Homes & Cottages design book or your own sketch. Either way, the first step is a conversation about the lot, the budget, and the build. From there, our BCIN-certified staff turn the plan into permit-ready blueprints.
Once the permit is moving, we line up the rest: a full materials package, takeoffs, and contractors and sub-trades if you need them. A bunkie-sized cottage, a two-car garage, and an addition that doubles the kitchen all follow the same path.
